Rebuilding After the Palisades and Eaton Wildfires: A Story of Resilience, Trust, and Rebuilding Home
When the Palisades and Eaton wildfires swept through Los Angeles County in January 2025, over 16,000 structures, including homes and businesses were destroyed or damaged, approximately 13,000 households were displaced by the two wildfires, families lost more than just property, they lost the place they called home.
For one family, the pain was especially personal, and so was the path forward. We were honored to be called back to rebuild the very home we originally constructed years ago. This isn’t just a story about construction, it’s a story about trust, craftsmanship, and the power of rebuilding together.
A Home We First Built with Care
Years ago, our team had the privilege of designing and building a custom home in Altadena. We poured our hearts into that project, every detail, every finish, every beam.
That house wasn’t just a job. It was a reflection of what we value most: quality, care, and long-term relationships.
So when the unimaginable happened in January 2025 and that home was lost to the wildfire, it hit us deeply, not just as builders, but as people.
Called Back to Rebuild
In the aftermath of the fire, the homeowners reached out to us with a simple message:
“We want you to rebuild our home.”
That level of trust is something we never take lightly. To be invited back, not just to build a structure, but to help restore a sense of peace and normalcy, is an honor.
